The meat stew with potatoes and peas is a classic dish of Italian cuisine, perfect to bring to the table in the winter season.
This is my mom's recipe. We used turkey meat in honor of the American Thanksgiving tradition.
INGREDIENTS
(doses for 4 people)
- 800 gr of turkey stew
- 3 potatoes
- 250 gr of peas
- 1 onion
- 1 cup of white wine
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Salt
- Pepper
METHOD
First, cut the meat into cubes of the same size and ... rinse them with wine! Then flour them well and set them aside.
In a pan with oil, sauté the onion. Add the meat and brown it over high heat for a few minutes. Deglaze with the white wine.
Peel the potatoes, cut them into cubes of the same size and add them to the pan along with the peas.
Season with salt and cook the potato and pea stew over medium heat for about 40 minutes.
